Thank You For Being RADD!

As a member of the Healthy Velo Nation, my expectation of you is very high. By wearing any gear or swag that represents the Healthy Velo Nation, you represent the entire nation of players, parents, coaches and more! Here are what the letters stand for when you aspire to "Be RADD!"

R - Be a Role Model to everyone around you, whether vocally or by your actions.

A - Be Accountable. If you say you are going to do something, you do it.

D - Be Dedicated. Put in the work CONSISTENTLY that most don't, so you can get to where most won't.

D - Dream! Don't be afraid to dream. The problem in life is NOT that humans set their goals and dreams too high and fail, it's that they set them too low...and achieve them. Comfort is the enemy of growth. Push outside your comfort zone, dare to dream, and accomplish more than you ever imagined.

This is also especially important to me because this message is a special tribute to my dad. As I got to college, our father-son relationship evolved into a friendship as well. He opened up to me about HIS dreams that he had when he was younger. He said that he always wanted to get into hotel or restaurant management and if he ever opened up a restaurant, he wanted to name is BRAD's. Those 4 letters B.R.A.D. represented the names of everyone in our family - Brad, Ryan, Anne & Dan. This was before I even came into the picture. With S as my initial, it fit as well. So, with my acronym Be RADD, when you say it out loud, it would sound like you're saying BRAD.
